| This commissioned piece, a study in wine, was greatly influenced by the client's love of the oriental. With a commission I feel it is important to bring as much of the surrounding of the client into the piece as possible. The wine colored silk twill for the background of the tapestry is from a 1930's dress along with the other smaller pieces found in an antique shop in Waco, TX where the client lives. |
